30 days of Erica
This little cutie is is growing and changing every year. Looking through the photo albums is such a wonderful trip down memory lane. Sometimes I get bogged down in just looking at pictures and remembering my children and what fun we had.
Anyway....she is now in 2nd grade at ECS. This was a tricky year. ECS decided to do a split class with 2nd and 3rd grade. We were NOT asked about it or told earlier. We found out on the back to school meeting. At that point it was too late to do anything but except it and try to make the best of it. It was a smaller class of good kids but a little more pressure on the learning part. I think the 2nd graders did good with it but not so sure the 3rd graders (parents) felt they got their money's worth. Erica was in the class with her friend Brittany so she was a happy camper.
Here she is at Christmas. Notice the permed hair. She and I actually had matching perms. Her hair was longer of course. She wanted a sewing machine for Christmas and her Grandma and Grandaddy gave her one. She was so excited about sewing and making something herself. So glad Grandma was going to be the teacher....because her mother can't sew a thing!
Here is a picture of the pillow that "they" made. She was so proud. We still have that pillow and its in my childrens room at my house. That is Keith in the bakcground looking on. He is wearing his Christian t shirt and his mc hammer pants....I think they were called jams then ? idk
Notice is it December and she is wearing shorts. As I look through my pictures,, most of her Christmas and Birthday (Jan) ones has her wearing shorts!!!!!
Her bd theme was Dalmations. I made that cake for her. I actually made several Dalmation themed cakes....as she wound up having several parties. This one is at East End Skating. Notice the shorts! It is January. She loved her party there and enjoyed roller blading. Guess what? Her 8 year bd party for friends was there too. That is what she picked. But....that is getting ahead of myself.
This child played hard and got the most out of each day. She is such a sweetie.
